Marin Art School News
Painting on location with MAS is a seasonal endeavor. Locations and times are weather dependent. Please view the weekly newsletter for exact times and locations. Dorallen will view weekly weather forecasts to determine best times and locations for Wednesday paint outs. Example: Cool weather may inspire a day of painting in the wine country. Warm weather may determine a morning painting by the water.
MAS is proud to announce that Declan McKenna, a San Rafael HS senior, has accepted an (nearly) full scholarship to the Maryland Institute College of Art. Declan, while on scholarship and being mentored by MAS, developed his portfolio which was submitted to many colleges for admittance. He was accepted to 8 colleges!
Declan is the third student to be mentored at MAS for artistic development and college portfolio preparation. All three students were granted scholarships in addition to admission.
